2023 Northeast Buick Regional Meet, Morgantown PA, June 21-June 24, 2023

I hope others interested in attending the Buick meet will find this helpful...

I just got off the phone with the host hotel. The first block of rooms was already completely sold out which is understandable. BUT the second block is only PARTIALLY available because the night of the 24th is already sold out. If you don't need a room on the night of the 24th then you have no worries, but if you do need a room for that night you'll need to look elsewhere.

Additionally, there are only 7 rooms remaining for the nights of the 21st through 23rd. If you want the group rate, I'd suggest booking right away.

We have recently had verification that, at this point, the local WaWa service station has ethanol free  gas, but I suggest anyone needed this type of gas please verify using the puregas app or website.

A second bit of confusion.  If anyone wants to signup for a tour which we are charging, you must also sign up as a registered guest, that is $20 for a BCA member or $25 for a non-BCA member.  The cost for the trips are simply a pass-through cost.  We must have a Registration fee as well to pay for the expense of paper, printing, etc.  Please consider the need to meet our expenses.

Hope to see you all, soon. Now about 150 days.

Sorry,

I meant to do a note before teattachments and somhow it did not work.  I think this is the best way do reach  wider audience for our messages.  our "views" are increasing so I know many are reading.  I urge you to "stay tuned" for continued "updates".  I expected to contact all on this media, at least monthly.

We have had a few inquiries regarding how Classes will be arranged for this event,  Most will be arranged according to age, but there are some unique models in their own catagory.  One is dedicated to a special invitation to Opel cars of all ages.   I am including the list in this message.  Remember, to provide balance to the PEER judging, the Team reserves the right to change the Classes.  As always, please contact John or Kevin (conact info above)

I think we are a bit overdue with this update.  The calander is moving toward summer on the East Coast and Inland, so why not plan to include this event in your summer plans and include many attractions in the area, as well.  As always contact either Kevin Keenan or myself.  Phone and emailsare on earlier documents.

To  our Registered Guests and potential guests and Visitors.

We understand the Host Gotelmis now fully booked for the Friday night of o event.  Other nights are still open.

We do apologize that we did not secure a larger room block initially and they do have another event requiring more rooms.  However, I suggest you make addidional periodic calls to the hotel.  In the meantime, they have made suggestions for three alternative accomodations.  There are also guest houses nearby.  The three hotels they mention are:

Comfort Inn, Denver, PA 717.336.7541

Comfort Inn, Reading, PA 610.378.5105

Best Western, Shillington (near Reading), 610.777.7888

Sorry, but the expression "Book Early, you can always cancel later" comes to mind.

I saw that my meet registration check has been cashed by the committee.  Will I receive any confirmation of registration?  I am very much looking forward to attending this regional meet...thanks for setting this up for us "East Coast" members.

Are spectators welcome to view the Buicks on Friday's show field?  I don't own a Buick, but like them, and I live locally to Morgantown.  I'd really like to see cars.

Yes, please bring your family and friends! The event is for all Buick fans, owners, and lovers!

To Belveder,

I would like to ask you to stop by the Registration Desk (hopefully at the show field, weather dependent) and try to contact me, or someone from the two neraby chapters as you might consider joining one depending on where you live.

Bill,

First, we missed changing the form to allow more area for vendor space.  While we have not worked out the details for the vendor area we should be able to accomodatea trailer parked on the vendor space.  Will you also be bringing a car to show.  Just a reminder, no cars fr sale are allowed as the Mall is a sales oitlet for Classic Cars, and we cannot compete against them.  WE will havedetails to all listed vendors within the month,

At least 96 pre-registered last week, with more updates each day. No way to estimate day-of-show entries, but it will be a great event!
