I owned a '55 with the same color, though it was a V8.  Wow, did it have a lot of torque.  Not much top end, but man, you could really pull a load with that truck.

 

I think these are under-rated.

Looks like a clean truck and an easy restoration. I would think that its priced about right. These dont get the Ford/Chevy prices but would still make a nice truck.

If I remember right the differential gears in those trucks were very low. 4:11 to maybe as low as 5:56. Depending on engine and options.

They were very uncommon around where I lived in PA.  Ford, Chevy, GMC and IH were more common.  Looks like a decent project truck.

If this was nearby I'd look at it, without a doubt. Never a huge fan of '50's Dodge trucks, but I kind of like the worn look. I'd keep it as is in that respect. Don't really like these Dodges when they're painted and shined up, though.

Thats funny, I thought the exact opposite. I dont particularly care for the looks of these trucks compared to the chevy and ford, however I have seen a couple with a perfect restoration and thought they looked pretty sharp. In its as is condition it just looks like an old truck to me.
