Michael C Wauhop Posted December 9, 2021 Share Posted December 9, 2021 About a year and a half ago I bought a Willard script battery from battery central mall to put in my 1940 Packard 180. Well I was driving to an event in Hershey when the car died-couldn't get it restarted. I had it towed to a friends shop and the first thing he tells me is that the battery needs to be replaced it will not hold a charge. I paid over $300 for this battery and now its done-and it was a long wait to get it. Needless to say it will be replaced with an interstate battery but I wonder if anyone else has had problems with batteries from battery central. I will say that these batteries can be ruined in an instant with a jump box and how they are charged. You can not put one of the jump boxes on these AGM batteries if you need to jump them you must do it from another battery. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
