Help - Information for 1933 McLaughlin Buick

Hello All - I have a 1933 McLaughlin Buick that I am trying to find a.) a repair manual for, b.) Machine specs for the timing gears so I can make some and c.) parts or other items for this Canadian made, 50 series, straight 8, beauty.

 

Any ideas?

Some McLaughlin Buicks were flat heads using the Oldsmobile engine.   If your car has a flat head engine it won't share any engine parts with Flint cars which were exclusively flat heads.

Maybe faxon auto literature?  I have had pretty good success with them.

I think you are referring to the Marquette.  It was only built for 1 year (30) with the 6 cyl L head

The original poster has not been back, however if his McLaughlin is burgundy and a Victoria, my friend restored the car in the 1980's and it is a prize.
