Driving around Christmas lights

Christmas lights…. I don’t mean to be a Grinch, however.... to those of you who are placing Christmas lights/decorations in your yards, would you please avoid anything that has Red or Blue flashing lights together!! Every time I come around the corner, I think it's the police. I have to brake hard, toss my beer out the window, fasten my seat belt, throw my phone on the floor, turn my radio down, and push the gun under the seat. All while trying to drive. It's just too much drama, even for Christmas.

And while you're at it, stop making songs with sirens in the background!

Use/design "the lights" as accents rather than "the show", too.  No need to make it look like something the Intl Space Station might see (unassisted).   MANY people have the "high contrast light" syndrome, which makes those really bright lights (worse if flashing!) really had to see though, by observation.

Old Tank, I think you might have the same thought as I every time I pull my seat belt across to buckle it. And it is not "Oh, I feel so safe and protected".
