58L-Y8
The worst thing about these Auburn Speedster replicars, if they even recognize these as a replicar, is the general public thinks this is what the genuine Auburn Speedsters were.
edinmass
Back when a real speedster was affordable, I didn’t get the modern ones. Today, a decent car is seven figures. Now the only issue I have with 99 percent of the modern units is they are a poor representation of a real car. Does it really need pipes out both sides?
BucketofBolts
Where were your father's and grandfather's when these vehicles were available "on the cheap" in the 1940s and 1950s? Tell us, what was their excuse for not buying these beauties when they were affordable and available?
TAKerry
Overall not a bad looking car, I just dont get the reproduction thing though. Same way with cobra replicars. I have seen some that are all but identical to a real one but to me its still driving a fake car.
58L-Y8
Essentially, a four-wheeled cubic zirconium.

And on the subject of Cobra replicars: has anyone else noticed that they are always for sale with super low mileage? Like 5,000 miles or less? My conclusion is that they must absolutely suck to drive.

Rivguy
A lot of us had ancestors that were too poor and too busy trying to survive, to buy toys like old cars, though yes, it was an opportunity for some.
