36 speedo gaskets

Having trouble remembering if there was a gasket between the cluster and the dash panel?  Cork?  Paper?  Seems like there should be one, but I don't have one for it and my pictures don't show it.

I also have a 36 Plymouth      it has been a long time since I had the dash out but you picture indicates it comes in from the back and the tabs are held in my threaded studs         do not  remember any gasket

Thanks for that (nice car!)  We see how it goes back without any issues.   I'm a little concerned that it's metal on chrome.   I'll put a paper gasket on it first just to eliminate rattles and any chance of scratches.

I have never seen a gasket between instruments and the dashboard.

My '36 Dodge had a thin paper gasket under each gauge body and the speedo housing.

I have the paper gasket for the gauges and under the glass and cork inside the chrome against the glass.  I made another paper gasket to go outside the chrome ring where it mates up against the backside of the dash.
