Guest
Color is a bit loud but it looks to be in nice condition and priced reasonably.
plymouthcranbrook
I can’t decide if the resale red is shiny or somewhat dull but agree the car looks really good. Being a 39 Plymouth I would be surprised if it sold at the asking price but as an owner of an old Plymouth I hope it does. Rising tide and all that.
supercub
The red kind of shouts out "look at me" but it is a real nice car. The engine is detailed and clean. The dash looks interesting, it's hard to see with blurry pics but it looks like its textured. The tires may be wider than original, a little much, but it could be that they were trying to get the height dialed in close to stock.
JACK M
Almost looks pearlescent.
Hudsy Wudsy
The last photo, the one of the firewall, shows a much more sedate and reasonable original color. You'll note that in that shot there appears to be a fitting and tube for a gas heater. It would be a surprise to me if that's the case. These non-Fords lent themselves to hot water heaters pretty easily. Still, there was nothing hotter than a gas heater.

They were installed on WWII bombers.
supercub
Interesting design, looks pretty safe, easy to install in a non heated car. Thanks for sharing.
Hudsy Wudsy
Fords, because of their water pump design, didn't lend themselves to hot water heaters at all. For Ford owners these were a god-send.
Peter S
I think that a gas heater started the fire that bought Rickie Nelson's DC3 down.
