Karps Power Bake Service

Does anybody know what the story is about Karps Power brakes? I sent then the brake booster and valve from my 1933 KA for rebuilding at the beginning of October. Emails, phone calls have not been acknowledged and now their  phone message says they have moved but "the mail box is full". Worrisome.

Unable to help, but good luck with the outcome. I may have an original unit if you are unable to retrieve yours.

Thanks. I will take you up on the offer. While I am still hopeful that they may pick up the phone, would you please have a look for the booster and the valve? Here are some bad picture pictures; the valve first and the booster below:

You might try posting this in the General Discussion and Technical Discussion sections of this site for a broader audience. Maybe someone lives close and could check it out for you. It would be a shame to lose such rare parts.

Whew. I tried phoning Karps again this morning and they picked up!!!. Seems the move of  locations has not gone as well as it should but now they are back! Promised my project would be finished next week. Finger crossed!! Thanks all for the input.

Glad that you found out they are still in business and are working on your parts. Moving a business is never an easy task and sometimes unexpected problems can delay getting back to normal for extended periods.
