suchan
"Rocket 350"? It's a 303 c.i. engine, isn't it? Not that I have anything against flippers who take photos of their cars in industrial parks... Clean, good-looking car, but that's a whole lotta green. 2

Like suchan points out, the "2nd owner" fails to rightly list the correct engine for his awesome Oldsmobile. I really like the car, although the color is not all that complimentary to the overall look. I'd bet the "2nd owner" hasn't owned it for very long at all. My grandfather owned an "88" series sedan from this same year - red body, white top. I realize the "98" is the top of the line series, but I'm thinking the shorter trunk on the "88" may offer a more proportionate profile. deac
This is a nice sedan. Somewhere in the early 50's Olds offered power steering and I think it was '53. If so this car is sorely missing that option! The setting in which the car was shot doesn't bother me; I'm not buying anything in the background. The way the car is photographed makes the difference and the seller did a pretty good job. Flipping the car or not makes no difference; the market place will level the price which I think is a fair asking price. I agree that calling the engine a 'Rocket 350' shows the sellers naivete!
kingrudy
I really like this era Olds. I thought all of the 98 series had power windows, but you learn something new every day. The extra chrome that wraps around the windows kind of softens up the green IMO. Nice looking car, I would drive it.
Guest
Maybe if the roof was painted white it could break up the feeling of too much green.

supercub
That shade of green is pretty good. The interior green is subtle as well as the styling, not too many features that blare out, just a basic streamlined style. Nice to see a consistent color match, instead of the usual wild mismatches that are out there.
