Roger Frazee
Any clues to what kind of "ambulances" these are?
rocketraider
Not 100% but Dodge and Cadillac were often used as ambulances in WW1 era.
keiser31
I don't see any Dodges in the photo.
WGW
I suspect the vehicles in those photos are slightly later than WW1, or a second generation in WW1-motored ambulances. Fort Devens in Massachusetts has a museum dedicated to the Yankee Division and its service in France during WW1, and we saw this ambulance on display there a few years ago. Is it possible they are English or some other nationality? Edited November 5, 2021 by WGW (see edit history)
1912Staver
I would say they are about 1920 at the newest. And the farthest one from the camera looks to be different. Beading on the upper part of the door that I don't think the other two have. Edited November 5, 2021 by 1912Staver (see edit history)
modela28
The middle car is an Overland, maybe mid-teens. The "Overland" script is visible on the top of the hood near the radiator. Also, the radiator cap is oval in shape. Edited November 6, 2021 by modela28 (see edit history)
