rocketraider
Spartanburg. That Wakefield Buick? A friend's aunt lived in Spartanburg and bought a new Buick from Wakefield every few years. She would then sell her immaculate few-years-old Buick to her brother here, my friend's dad. After Steve and I were driving age, we'd go pick up the Buick and drive it home. My favorite was when we went to get her 1978 Riviera LXXV. Aunt Elizabeth didn't much like the downsized big Buicks of late 80s. Her last car was a 1994 Park Avenue Ultra which also made its way from SC to VA at her death.
