drwatson
Here's something on it: https://books.google.com/books?id=u7ASAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA26&lpg=PA26&dq=De+Jon+Electric+corp.+generator&source=bl&ots=o-Olk0C6GJ&sig=ACfU3U2KLC-ciSlfiOFZNjudf22JdCEEPA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjd79j08vXzAhUFSN8KHX5jC3MQ6AF6BAgDEAM#v=onepage&q=De Jon Electric corp. generator&f=false
Grimy
6V DeJon equipment was used by Pierce-Arrow for 1928 only, in both the junior (Series 81) and senior (Series 36) cars. With the distributor drive at the rear of the generator, this unit appears to be for a Series 81. Sorry but I don't have time tonight to check my books to see if DeJon Type DA is for that application.
drwatson
DA-4006 might be 1927 - 29 Locomobile. My 1933 Chilton book doesn't list a complete Generator but lists a few Gen. parts with "DA-nnnn" p/n format. The same book specifies "De Jon electrical system" for 1928 Pierce-Arrow (Series 81) but lists "DK-nnnn" for a couple Gen. parts.
TexRiv_63
Here is my only picture of the generator on my 28 Series 81 if it helps, sorry for the poor quality.
