I have a 89 SOHC TC and was trying to bleed the brakes and replace the rear calipers. I found there are literally no rear calipers that are accessible, so I'm hoping someone might know if there's a different wheel hub assembly that I could use as a replacement. Otherwise, I'm stuck with a car that needs rear calipers with no way to replace them. If you have suggestions for a rear axle replacement as well, I'm all ears.

I tried suggesting this remedy to the TC Club, but they po-popoed the idea. You might want to take advantage of it though. These rear brake calipers came from a LeBaron. They were used from 1989 up, on DOMESTIC FWD Chrysler cars. Rear disc brakes are rare on these cars, but are not the complicated, discontinued ones used on the TC and 87-88 Daytona.  PM me and I can help you further.443F3A36-7AAB-422C-BD44-E769D558221E.jpeg.6dfa1d1bcf5d301482ee629e23e5c09b.jpeg

Have you looked into a rebuild kit for your calipers?  About $8 on rockauto.  I just did two (actually 4, fronts too) on my car.

It is a set of rubber rings you replace on your existing calipers.

You can find posts or YouTube articles showing how. Hardest part is probably getting the piston out. Fairly easy with a compressor, but can be done by carefully twisting and pulling with channel locks.

Clean well and use a hone or fine sandpaper (600 or finer) to polish the bore.

Lube with brake fluid and reassemble.

This is definitely the way to go. Not hard, keeps it original, very inexpensive and easy.
