I am the third owner. (Mileage needs to be confirmed) She was purchased in 1967 in Spokane WA. It has the original instruction manual. When I got her she still had the shopping list from the original owners on a piece of paper in the glovebox. A real sense of history. We have driven her through the summers and what a great ride. For anyone who is mechanical she is easy to take care of. They don't make cars like this anymore. She is solid. Bench seats in the front and back. There are some tears on the driver's side seat and one on the top of the back seat from the original owners. I am relunctantly selling her as I don't have room to keep her and want her to go to someone who will appreciate this beautiful classic. I called her Nessie (on license plate holder) after my grandmother who was also unique and classy. Willing to negotiate serious offers but no low balling please. Guest
Nice looking old Merc, crying for a set of white walls. I'd buy, but I have a hard and fast rule about avoiding people who name their cars and then introduce them to you like a family member. I believe it's a low level psychosis linked directly to the purchase of "time out dolls", if not checked in it's early stages. .
TerryB
Nessie is also the name of the Lock Ness monster. Any connections?

Ed Luddy
In this shade of paint "Wimbledon White" it shows the Lincoln influence on L-M hardtop sedans of the 60's. Boxy slab sided, but I mean that in a good way. Minimalist approach when compared to the same models of 7 years earlier.
JamesR
Yes, very clean from the photos. I'm always put off by names, too, but somehow the old girl names aren't quite as objectionable as the ones I see on youtube project vids. Those guys give their cars racehorse style names (e.g., "ghost" etc.)
kingrudy
Would like to see engine compartment, six or eight. Looks pretty clean.
m-mman
This is the mid-priced Montclair version. The Hot ticket full size Mercurys are the (black) Parklane Broughams that were featured on the TV show Hawaii 5-0. All full size 67 Mercs were V-8s (390, 410, 428) Their sales slogan could NEVER be reused today "The Man's Car"
kingrudy
"Mercury, the Man's Car" I think someone would get their feelings hurt if you said that today.
