Reading the headline for it I said to myself, “I bet you it’s green”.  Sure enough it is.

Did they make them in any other colors??😄

This one is actually a somewhat lighter shade of green than most of those I encountered as a kid.

I like this era for sure.  I was born in 1964, and my dad bought Ford station wagons for years.  He zagged once and bought a 1976 LTD II 2 door hard top - with 5 kids???? - and regretted it.  He had back to back mid 70's 351's through rods, 1st in this 2 door then in the replacement 77 yellow wagon.

This particular 72 is part of the fuselage direction of full bodied styling which I like, but trying to wash the underside of the sides - the doors and so on - lots of bending.

These are simply not $10,000 or $8,000 cars in my opinion.  These are great entry level collector cars for the younger guys and gals.  I wish we would be more of them but we don't because they are not "sexy" and collectible in the sense of Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros and so on - the very cars owners of these lusted after back in the day!
