Guest
Does anyone have a good method for removing the headlight bezel on a 1925 DB. The manual says to push in hard and turn to the left. I am assuming that this means counter clockwise while facing the lens. I can get it to move a very little but that is all. I need to change the bulb and these haven't been opened in at least 15 years. I certainly do not want to take a chance on breaking the lens. Guest leadfoot
I put my hands at 9 and 3 on the rim and gently push in and then turn counter clockwise. Before you replace the rims, place a light amount of white grease on the inside of the rim where the headlight casing nubs rub. Also, while you have the rim/lens off make sure the reflector is clean and free from oxidation.
