TC gets a little TV exposure

I just saw this on TV today for the first time. I think this is the latest Consumer Cellular commercial. I paused the TV and took a photo.

Spotted another TC on the "ID" channel last night on TV. (At least I think it's a TC.) The name of the show was "Signs of a psychopath". Season 2, Episode 6. What is in the photo below is about all they showed. Two TCs on TV in less than a week is pretty good. It has been a few years since I saw a Reatta on TV.

Glad to do it. As a Reatta owner I feel a kinship with the TC and even the Allante. They always catch my eye. They were built during the same period and they were built in a similar style with the front wheel drive and all the luxury options. They are great cars that get little recognition. I give them a plug every chance I get.

Ghostly, you are of course absolutely correct. It goes to show why people think our TCs are LeBarons. An additional large give-away is the lack of the tonneau cover, though the antenna on the left quarter panel just adds to the fact.

I first saw the photo on my i-Phone and replied with a congratulation too quickly.

My excuse, "I just came from the eye doctor" he declared me "Blind in one eye and can't see out of the other"

Close but I believe that is a Lebaron

The other giveaway on telling the 2 apart is the little 'jog up' on the bright trim from qtr panel to the trunk panel on the LeBaron vs the smooth transition on the TC.

A big Thanks to Matthew Cody from Georgia who drove his TC to Amelia Island, FL and put it in the Concours d' Lemons.  The show Caffeine & Octane has the full show and it appears on NBCSN if you can get that channel.  They don't have their show uniquely identified so I cannot tell you which show to watch.  Below is a couple of shots from the show. Please forgive my photography of my TV.  Matthew has since sold his TC but good seeing you again.

The Consumer Cellular ad appeared again this evening on The Goldfinger movie on the BBC channel.  Spouse (George) spotted it so thought I'd see if it was reported here.

 

ps, been quite a few years since I've reported anything here.
