paulrhd29nz
A nice and mostly original example but the are expecting Hudson Money for an Essex. Price is double to much and then that’s still optimistic.
Jim Skelly
I don't think that is an outrageous price if it runs well and has good wood. The condition of "good" doesn't really tell you much about the car, but how many decent old 3-window coupes are out there that haven't been hot rodded and sell for not much more than $10,000?
Brooklyn Beer
Interesting car. The configurations of how different motor's were at this time never ceases to amaze me. Everyone was always different from brand to brand especially in the cooling department.
Cured
I’ve got an Essex body similar to this one sitting on an early Franklin drive train and running gear. If anyone is interested I would like $2500 for it. It was converted to a pickup so no rear deck. Metal and fenders are real good. Sorry about the upside down pics. 3makes
Cured: Your location, contact information, Franklin engine number, additional engine pictures and pictures of the rear axle would be helpful. Cured
Thanks 3M. I have a better post on the Franklin forum with a picture of the rear axle. Located in Alberta, Canada. I will get the engine # ASAP. Edited October 16, 2021 by Cured (see edit history)
