SIRAACA_Editor
Courtesy of the Museum of the City of New York is this photo, taken by the Byron Co., of a 1910 or so Packard moving van. What struck me was the moving company's slogan, "Ask the people for whom we work", which is quite similar to Packard's own, "Ask the man who owns one". Probably not coincidental.
Guest
That museum website has some great photos. A few similar trucks from there and on the web.

Brass is Best
There was a Packard truck radiator similar to the Brewing Company truck at Hershey last week. I almost let it follow me home as wall art.

motoringicons
When I see these Packard trucks, I always think about Frank Malatesta's great Packard moving van that was always a fixture at the Hershey show. motoringicons
These Packard trucks have always been a favorite of mine. If I was ever going to own an early commercial vehicle, it would have to be a Packard. Here is one coming up for auction. https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/114065217_1916-packard-model-e-2-12-ton-c-cab-truck
1937hd45
Those enclosed vans are so over rated on hot summer days.

Century Eight
Whatever became of Frank Malatesta’s moving van? Whenever I go to Hershey, I always tell those I’m with about it.
