B Jake Moran
I would avoid 1982 and 1983. The convertibles to get are 1984 and 1985. Since YJob Fan, whomever that mysterious guy is, will disagree - let me note that I had similar interest about 8 years ago and Barney Eaton provided a well thought out response why NOT to buy a 1982 or 1983. There are always exceptions but it is my understanding that some critical trim parts are unobtainable if found missing or damaged. As I recall, he stated they were necessary for good fit. So that is why I would avoid a 1982-3 car.
Matt Harwood
Very reasonable price. I sell them routinely for $15-17,000 with that kind of mileage.

I would not avoid one of the 82 or 83's but would certainly want a very nice example to alleviate some of the supply issues, but personally I would prefer an 84 or 85 for several reasons but the padded top/headliner would be top of the list. I have been looking for an 85 Turbo in white for years, looked at one a few months ago but it just was not pristine enough and would take a lot to get it there. There was also a Select 60 on eBay a few months ago that was highly tempting

Matt, it's not surprising that two Riviera convertibles would look alike. All came with red leather interiors, and there were only two paint colors--red or white--available.
