George Smolinski
One of the most promising cars that didn't quite achieve its promise, the 1936 Cord 810 Roadster.
alsancle
Wow that color is bad. It is a convertible coupe, although sometimes referred to as a “sportsman” because of an ad. Never referred to as a roadster,
1937hd45
Looks like a bar of Irish Spring without the odor.

ramair
This is the color you pick if you want sell a classic at a affordable price ( I actually would call this Gumby green), look at the positives, someday someone that is color blind will get a good deal. Ask me how I know this
1935Packard
BTW, my favorite kind of 810/812 is a phaeton without side pipes in a light color, like cream or yellow. I thought the Amelia Earhart car at Pebble this year was pretty much perfect. Edited September 21, 2021 by 1935Packard (see edit history)
alsancle
Orin, you are correct. Phaeton it is.
bryankazmer
And so it circles back - Cord did call it a Phaeton, but it's not the body style. Phaetons and roadsters don't have side windows.
Alex D.
If the undesirable shade of green is what the Cord was born with would it be advantageous to change to a more desirable color? Looks to be a well restored car and I like Irish Spring.
mike6024
That is a Hollywood type color, would get you attention cruising Beverley Boulevard. Good for a Hollywood starlet.

JCHansen1
I'm probably the only one, but I don't hate it. Would not be my first color choice, and if I had Cord Phaeton coin in my pocket I might hold out for a color I really like, but I wouldn't be even close to embarrassed to be seen driving it... It probably helps that I don't ever recall seeing an ugly 810 in my life. 👍 Edited September 21, 2021 by JCHansen1 (see edit history)
mrspeedyt
It needs some pink pinstripes… a MUCH lighter green (OR darker green) is MUCH better looking… that present shade of green probably would not look good on ANYTHING… (except maybe on an apple…) Edited September 22, 2021 by mrspeedyt (see edit history)
