Of course, you lose control of its ultimate fate that way. It's been 15 years now that I had a solid but incomplete '27 chevy coupe in the garage of my parents' home. They were deceased and we needed to sell the house. I figured the car was worth $700 to $800, and even offered it on this forum for $400. No interest at all.
