58L-Y8 Posted September 13, 2021 Share Posted September 13, 2021 The 1939 Nash in the second photo had a locally-sourced convertible body. The telltale is the cast, chrome-framed windshield which is not typical of American production, Seaman-bodied Nashes which had a stamped sheet metal windshield frame as part of the upper cowl stamping. T.J. Richards may have been the coachbuilder. Other photo views might yield a clue. Pre-war Nash convertibles, regardless of whether factory-bodied or locally-sourced were extremely rare when new and virtually extinct now. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
