72gs455
I cannot find the 3 fasteners that bolt the flywheel to the torque converter. I don’t remember for sure but I thought they were flat headed, round and with a flat side. Anyone have 3 I could purchase? 1954 Buick 322 with a Dynaflow. Maybe it isn’t a special bolt and im overthinking it… thanks, jerry

old-tank
Just longer versions of the same bolts that hold the rest of the torque converter together.
NTX5467
Perhaps www.hometownbuick.com might have some specs on those bolts?

72gs455
I am looking for the 3 fasteners that bolt the torque converter to the flywheel. I cant find mine... I am told they are a special fastener, "Shouldered bolt". 1954 322/dynaflow. The previous posts sent me looking to no avail. ARP needs more info than i can provide, Hometown and the54 highway didn't turn anything up. Matt at Centerville says they don't stock them and they are not reproduced. so i gotta find some sitting in a bone yard. The shop manual shows thread pitch and parts book just shows group. Any help out there? Thanks in advance! Jerry
Chcknugget
Not sure about a 1954 but on my 58 they were just normal fine-threaded bolts. I think there was a washer and a lock washer under each bolt. I ordered grade 8 replacements for the full torque converter when I had it out. Local hardware store might have them.
