How to repair power seat switches?

My driverside power seat switches have loosened from its base. Does anyone know how to repair it? As I can't figure out how to access the switch where it mounts to the panel.

Here is a picture of the underneath side of the console and you can see that the post the switch screws into gets broken.  Follow Wild Bills directions.  Be careful with the automatic as there is an wire cable that goes to the indicator showing what gear the lever is in.  You have to open up a door on the console passenger side near the floor and unscrew the wire.  It has a green thing where it is attached.  You can take the console out but putting it back in will require removing the passenger seat.
