John_S_in_Penna
Is that upholstery correct? It looks unusual, but it's also on the door panels. As one who likes the unusual, I wouldn't mind a car like this. But, sigh, there are only so many cars a person can buy, drive, store, and maintain!

I parted out a rusty '57 Clipper town sedan years ago. The original cloth was an interlocking rectangle pattern nylon weave, with a solid silver grey smooth nylon in somewhat the same sewn pattern in this car. If its as good and largely rust-free in person as it looks here, this is a decent deal...as long as its as mechanically good as well. Note the supercharger is missing. These also have a huge amount of potmetal chrome trim, so that is a major item if someone decides to undertake a restoration of one, put one quickly 'underwater'. The 55er
I absolutely cannot tolerate that seat material, it gives me a migraine headache just looking at it.
