Oil filter help - 47 Standard (Triumph) Tourer

First I apologize for cross posting, if anyone saw my other posting.  I have a 47 tourer, and I wanted to see about getting a replacement filter for the remote oil filter. I realize that this is not a standard item, but I wondered if anyone had seen anything like it, or a replacement.  I am guessing I could just flush it and put it back in.  I know that the remote filters were a popular option add-on for British cars, so I am hoping someone knows of a suitable replacement.

Does the top come off the canister? If so, you may be able to get a replacement, or close replacement, for the inner cartridge from Moss Motors. They still provide original filter elements for TCs and early TDS. They are cotton elements which can also be cleaned and reused. However, local environmental regs may make disposal of your cleaning waste a real PITA.

I checked and the top does not come off, and if I look inside it has metal.

British makers often used AC filtration components, so I would guess AC P127, P172 or P209. If you post dimensions, height, OD and the diameter of the center hole., I might be able to give you a part number.
