You’ll want to adjust it by pulling the Clevis pin and turning the threaded part getting the peddle to have an inch or a little more play on the top. Make sure the fork is free of the throw out at this position on the top. If things are worn you can have a lot of lost motion. It’s easily done with the floor boards removed.
