TexRiv_63
Tried this in the "What Is It" forum without much success, need the Buick experts. I came across this pretty little ashtray for a Buick with the logo on the face. It is 2 3/4" wide by 1 3/4" high by 1 1/4" deep, the front panel is textured and polished stainless and the back part is pressed steel. Appears to be from 39 to 42 era, I need to know year, model, and location in the car where it was used, and some photos of how it is installed would really help. Thanks in advance! bunchabuix
Astray - Definitely 1941 convertible, rear seat, one ashtray on both left & right. Possibly other years, probably 1940. 1
2carb40
The ash receiver fits 1940-1948 Convertible. The one shown is in very nice condition. Many Ive seen are rusty inside with ashes still present, unemptied holding any moisture causing rusting. Pretty uncommon and sometimes the victim of an easy theft as they merely tip out to remove. 1

Den41Buick
Definitely not a 1941 convertible nor sedan. I think mid 1930"s or so.
Dave39MD
That style was also used in the Fisher Body Cabriolets and coupes 31, 32, and maybe more in the passenger door. I have also seen them in another application but can't recall. Different design than my 31 60 series. TexRiv_63
Had positive ID including a photo of use in the 1941 Buick Roadmaster convertible but not other models.
