George Smolinski
Seems like a decent price if you are looking for a prairie schooner or land yacht.
plymouthcranbrook
Does it come with an old Honda Civic to help push it into the parking spots? Joking aside, looks like a nice big highway cruiser.
Mark Huston
Love it. I like big cars like this one. Reminds of the days when older seasoned drivers where not afraid to drive big cars. No compact cars for the grandparents back when this car was new.

I like it too, and appreciate the larger models as well. Car collectors, take note: While the world has been going after muscle cars, cars like this 1970 Mercury have been disappearing. While not considered especially desirable today, it should be preserved. A buyer could find, for instance, more than 100 Oldsmobile 4-4-2's available for every example of this model.
58L-Y8
Still Available, Same Price: $8,999: September 2021: 1970 Mercury Marquis all original - cars & trucks - by owner -... (craigslist.org) 70 Mercury Marquis brougham. Car is all original and has 29000 miles on it, 429 automatic. Rust free body, trunk and undercarriage, car had Ziebart rust proofing done when new and has always been garage kept. Interior and dash is spotless. Paint looks good, does have some minor scratches here and there but overall very nice. Good solid nice running old car that will give someone years of cruising in. I don't think you could find an antique car as nice as this anywhere for the price! Truck trades considered can add cash for the right trade as well.
