jeff_a
I can't ID it positively, but it looks a little like a 1929 6-81 --- or possibly a 1930 Standard Eight. It could even be a powerful and expensive 1929 5-Passenger 8-125. I know of 2 Peerlesses with Cormorant hood ornaments.........but Packard people like to claim them as their own. For reference -- here's a 1929 6-61 7-Passenger Touring Phaeton that just turned up down south. This particular model has hood louvers along the lines of a Roosevelt, Marmon, or Stutz; but there's some similarity to the above car's rad shell/headlights/radiator emblem/front fenders.
