Jeff Perkins / Mn
I had a ‘46 D-24 club coupe for 10 years and loved it. A lady car friend had one like this. We would park them together at the shows, hers got all the attention (the car that is…ya right!). I really like this one.

alsancle
We are peeing on it a bit, but it looks nicer than 90% of the 1941-1951 mopars we see.
Dosmo
Is this shade of green a factory color? I’m thinking I’ve seen Mopars from this era in a hue very similar to this one. I like the way it looks on this particular car, but then again, I’ve always liked dark green.
The 55er
Way overpriced. There were three shades of green for a 1946 Dodge. Two were lighter, one was darker. The exterior color isn't correct but I think the incorrect interior hurts the value more, wrong seat material, wrong door panels, and It's possible the dash should have a woodgrain finish. A business coupe should have a rubber floor mat, but I don't know if that can be found or easily fixed. Dirty engine compartment, lots of stuff wrong under the hood too. I mean the seller is asking top money here for a car with a lot of flaws. I agree with Alsancle, 12-15K would be more realistic.
Brooklyn Beer
I have a 46 club couple in bombardier blue. My door cards the same color but the fabric detail is way off as are the seats. The dash though is very special and looks great. Really good stuff. Changing color speedo. You get over 35 and it changes from green to red. (Danger?) Fluid drive car. That old reliable flat 6. But at this price he will sit on it for years. I gave 5k for my "little rough" beater 4 years ago. Paint looks good but the owners choice of matching his tractor ? These models always seemed to me to be leaning forward when standing still 3

BB, I had the same car, same color from 1978-88. I looked for a nice one for the last two years w/no luck. Finally opened up my search and found a solid and nice ‘48 NY’er. Love those ‘41-‘48 Mopars! I keep looking at NY'ers because I would like a flat 8 but then I look over t 1916-18 Buicks because I want a 100 yr old car. If i could find a 46-47 Imperial at a good price I would be in boner land. Too many great cars and not enough money for sure

I think I have seen about 4 41-48 NY Business coupes in the last 15 years.
Jeff Perkins / Mn
I looked at a NYer business coupe when I looked at a NYer club coupe for sale. Seller also had a NYer convert for sale. All ‘48’s. I walked away as the seller was really bad news…….. Edited August 6, 2021 by Jeff Perkins / Mn (see edit history)
