Vintage car dash Temp Gauge Identification

Hello, I am a new member from Adelaide, South Australia, and I have found this vintage dash temp gauge. I am seeking  help to identify it and the car it came out of.

The dial reads ‘Cold Normal Hot. With bove Alcohol Boils with an arrow pointing to normal. It also has a switch with three way position, which could be headlight and park.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Dave, thanks for your reply, the alcohol boils indication had me a bit confused, however, there was an old Chev in the shed that I found it in, the switch switches from the centre to left or right. Cheers, John
