Indulge my excitement but I thought I would post some of the cars that are showing at this event. I have previously made a post and more info can be found at BirthplaceofSpeed2003.com. They expect 200-300 cars on display with over 50 being allowed to "race" on the beach. Cars include: 1903 Olds Pirate replica, 1904 Peerless Green Dragon, 1904 Pope Toledo Vanderbilt Cup car, 1905 Stanley racer, 1903 Packard Gray Wolf, 1904 Orient Buckboard racer (two 2-cylinder engines),1911 Kissel racer, 1922 Wisconsin Special, 1915 Cutting racer, 1915 Cornelian Indy car, 1909 Mercedes Rabbit (17 litre engine), etc. There will be some special motorcycles and other early cars. Some of these vehicles are coming from museums and all will run!

If you are in the Ormand Beach area in late March you really should make it down to the beach at least for one of the days. It shopuld be a heck of a sight seeing these cars run again. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
