1920 Buick gaskets

As a heads up on doing this job. Make sure both the intake and exhaust manifolds are flat and in the same plane. Use a good accurate straight edge. I have been having sealing problems with my 1925. The shop that did my head "surfaced" my manifolds individually. Basically a big belt sander. I should have had the entire assembly with the riser bolted together leveled as a unit.

Ok, Thanks.  The intake and exhaust are seprate unites and only a washer to hold them tight. I would think ,plane both and use same thickness gaskets and would be fine.   Shows what I know  right.   Roger
