Early automotive windshield i.d

Recommended Posts

Very high quality hardware. Most trucks were a lot more basic and rarely fold down. I have looked at many period photo's of early trucks when researching my 1918 Packard 2 ton. But I can't say I have ever seen hardware this elaborate.  Boat sounds more likely.

Typical of an early accessory outlet house windshield. I've seen others, but not this particular one. I'm interested if for sale. Size and location would be helpful.

Boat windshields are generally well anchored, often V-shaped and slanted back so if a wave breaks over the bow, they survive. With this windshield it would be one and done, glass and splinters all over the boat.
