Denim Posted May 13, 2021 Share Posted May 13, 2021 I have a 1998 Riviera with gold emblems designating the car as a Signature Edition. I can't find any reference to such a car, anywhere, as yet. rocketraider Posted May 13, 2021 Share Posted May 13, 2021 1998 was 35th anniversary of Riviera in its personal luxury format, though I don't know of any commemorative editions for that. Could be a dealership or sales zone thing. Does it appear to be a nice quality piece? The only "Signature Editions" I'm aware of are Lincoln Continentals. Sean, you might pose your question in the specialized "Buick Riviera" category. Many Riviera fans read that category and might not see it here in the general category. They would be happy to delve into your question! I too wonder whether it was a regional edition. Sometimes, dealers from a particular city or zone would get together to order a special package or color, which might then have a special name. Ed Luddy Posted May 14, 2021 Share Posted May 14, 2021 The 1999 Silver Arrow Edition is the only factory Special Edition I've ever heard of. i did have a 2003 Lincoln Town Car "Presidential Edition" Also a Florida aftermarket dealer package.
