When all else fails there is the gas axe.  It reminds me of a story a guy told me when we were looking a old cars. He said that his parents had relocated many years ago in a Motel T truck. I guess he meant TT.  He said that the roads were so muddy that to keep the front wheels turning his Dad had to chop off the fenders with an axe!  I’m guessing that truck was never restored.

This was probably a real story.

I was at the mud flats at Bonneville salt flats and I watched a car driving through the mud. The rear wheel filled the wheel wells so much that the tires stopped turning.

He then went and got his truck, the front wheels also filled up the wheel wells too.

He left both of them and walked away!

Maybe the trunk is full of spare parts.

I've been accused (perhaps rightly so?) of carrying my entire garage when we go touring.

Thankfully, I've been able to assist many other tour participants while on tour-

but maybe I should be considering this method of tool storage?
