padgett
Looks like only half the cars are on the ground and the other half would be hard to get out. I believe in having direct exit for all of my cars but then my house is in a development behind Universal and worth a lot less. ps never saw so many four post lifts. John_S_in_Penna
The fawning article claims that the house has 9000 square feet. I doubt it. Normally, square footage does not count basements, attics, garages, etc. It looks like a nice contemporary Western style house of 2000 to 3000 square feet. It is not a "mansion" as they state. But 50-car storage capacity would be welcomed by many a car fan.

You'll still have room for 25 cars which should be enough for most of us.

All have AC. ps just got my latest electric bill: 1.2KWH, $157. Edited April 30, 2021 by padgett (see edit history)
Paul Dobbin
Not a good buy for only two month's out of the year. Edited April 30, 2021 by Paul Dobbin (see edit history)
zipdang
Even if I could afford this place, I'd go broke trying to fill the garage. How long is the driving season up there? I think Paul Dobbin hit the nail on the head.

zepher
That is an amazing place someone has put together. It is actually on North Fork Rd, not N Ford as the article says. https://www.zillow.com/homes/2100-North-Fork-Rd-Big-Sky,-MT-59716_rb/116315562_zpid/
Michael Peternell
It's exactly like a very well restored pre war car. You can buy it all done cheaper than you can do it starting from parts!
zepher
According to the listing, taxes were $29k last year, great for a place like that. I would be more worried about the permit and inspection fees to operate a fuel station than the taxes.
Dandy Dave
Yep. Taxes too high and way too cold most of the year for me. I'll pass. Like they say in real estate. Location, Location, Location.
