Hi all

I have just joined this forum because of the great people who have knowledge and wants to share it with ethers

l have several vintage cars but enjoy reading the pre war sections of the forum.

Here is a picture of my 1926 Buick barn find that I picked up about a year ago

It is a one family owned car that was parked in 1949

sincerely

John

That 1926 roadmap is a fantastic find!  If you ever open it could you post some pictures? I am facinated by the thought of a roadmap with no highways.

I will when I get a chance to dig it back out I will

I like the Inspection report with the tire  serial numbers  dated  3/30/43  59982 miles

and the nine dollar gift card for a battery or other merchandise from 1927

 Odometer now shows 80327 miles

Just wondering how you knew it was from 1926? It took me a few minutes to find a mention of a date

That not a very good picture but they would like something like the ones on my Hudson

Wow!  I just guessed that it was 1926 map because of the vehicles depicted.  But what a great cache of goods!  Thanks for posting all this.

John, noticed the map states that “It is expected that numbering of Federal routes will be completed by 1927 in this territory.”  So reasoning suggests it be 1926 or even earlier. Just my take.

Rodney 😀😀😀😀😀😀
