motoringicons Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) Here is a neat and certainly rare early Rudge Whitworth hubcap. It is a cast brass hubcap that has worn nickel plating. The brass center medallion is marked Rudge Whitworth Philadelphia with the letters SRB in the center. Does anyone know what SRB stands for?? ( I don't). The nickel plating is worn but otherwise it is in nice condition. The threads are external and look very nice and the outer hex is not worn. A great piece for an early hubcap collector but an even better piece if you have a car you can use it on. I'll take 125.00 postpaid within the USA. I accept PayPal for payment. Take a look at the photos. What you see is what you get. Email: motoringicons@hotmail.com or call 734-730-4274 Edited April 30, 2021 by motoringicons (see edit history)
Bob McAnlis Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 I believe SRB is Standard Roller Bearing though for a long time I thought was Single Row Bearing.
motoringicons Posted April 30, 2021 Author Posted April 30, 2021 (edited) Thanks, Bob. I did not know that. Hope you are well. This Rudge cap has been SOLD and will be going on a great car! Edited April 30, 2021 by motoringicons (see edit history)
