Chase air-cooled catalog date?

Recommended Posts

I've intended to take this catalog along to Hershey or another swap meet (Luray?) but can't determine exactly what year it is.  I've found it common that early catalogs are not dated and it can be difficult to pin that down unless you can figure out when certain models were introduced, or what features were offered when.  This catalog features the Chase motor trucks and shows what seems to be the full range of them.  A clue might be on two pages early in the booklet that describe the "Model M" as the newest addition to their line-up.  So, if I can figure out when that model was introduced it might help narrow things down a bit.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Terry

An internet search turned up a Chase advertisement for “1000 to 5000 lb trucks” from May 1912, and an ad for “500 to 5000 lb trucks” from June 1913, so one might conclude that a catalog for a “new 500 lb truck” would be from somewhere in that range.

Sounds reasonable - I had a feeling it was around 1912.  Appreciate the quick replies.
