kingrudy
Never even seen any pics of one of these. Lived in California for 50 years where vws were very common, and I have had several VWs of different years and styles. I think this is way cool. Does anyone know if this is a production vehicle, or custom?
plymouthcranbrook
I remember seeing some of the pickup versions when I was young. But I can never recall seeing one like this I just did a brief search on Google and although I found several pickups for sale none had this pipe/lumber hauling set up. Have to wonder if it was a special built truck.
kingrudy
If it was a special order from the factory, that might justify the price. Sure is interesting.
trimacar
From what I can gather on the Internet, it’s home built, although nicely done, and was done some time ago...
