Straight 8 BUICK Heater Water Shut-off Valve. Never Used. Solid Brass.

Recommended Posts

If you don't have one of these on your BUICK straight 8 engine, it's going to get mighty hot inside your car this summer.

This vintage valve in seen on many straight 8 BUICK engines. It was added to a lot of 1930's, 1940's and early 1950's BUICK's back in the day. This valve controls the hot water going from your engine to the car's heater. You leave it open in the fall, winter, and spring, and then close it for summer driving. You simply unscrew the engine hose nipple from the heater hose feeding the heater, replace with this valve, and then re-attach the heater hose to the output side of the valve.

Solid brass, vintage made in U.S.A. quality. Never Used. The price is $25, plus the shipping.

I sure could use one of these. Please shoot me a PM with your address and let me know how much the postage will be to Asheville, North Carolina.

Thanks,
