John McEwan
Has anyone an opinion on Egge pistons for an Dodge slow 4? A good choice or any problems?
Mattml430
JP pistons seem to be pretty good, I know you’ve already mentioned them. I used them in my engine rebuild.
Alan Cutler
They forged 6 for me, T58 engine for my '38 truck... Local company to me, so was very easy to work with, drove there, dropped off an old piston, 4 weeks later, picked up 6 new ones. Only complaint pricey...Had enough change left in my pocket to buy an In-N-Out burger! 1
dwollam
I have Egge pistons, stainless valves, and new valve springs in my '22 DB Screenside. .125 shaved off the head and block, everything else stock. 62.7 mph by GPS!
Minibago
Egge pistons are fine as are JP, as Alan said local is good sometimes. A point to think about, the situation regarding freight in general is bad and getting worse so the time delay combined with very high freight charges could make the JP more attractive.
John McEwan
I ended up with JP and new sleeves.
