Ray34
The clutch on my 1934 series 40 is almost out of adjustment. When it’s hot it difficult to get into gear. If I adjust further I can select gears OK but the graphite clutch release bearing is in constant contact with the graphite bearing in the clutch lever, this of course generates heat and noise and will result in excessive wear of the surfaces. I have a new resurfaced driven disc installed but it didn’t make any difference. Could it require adjustment of the clutch pivot screws ? Any suggestions will be very welcome..
