philliptaylor166
I have an old 71 442 ragtop. I was thinking about selling it instead of restoring it. Can you tell me where you think might be the best place to list this for sale? I would like to get a fair price for it. 1971 was the fewest production year, 1300 convertibles. This is a matching numbers car but it needs a restoration. I have owned it since 1982 and it was a daily driver until 95. The last time I ran it was in 2010 so now I’m afraid to crank it with that old gas.
joe_padavano
Without more info and better, current photos, the value is somewhere between scrap value an a million bucks. Sorry, but you haven't even told us if it's AT or MT. Drum or disc brakes? Bucket or bench seats? And "needs a restoration" can mean anything from a simple repaint to a total rust bucket. Sitting for 10 years how? In a climate controlled garage, or in a dirt-floor shed?
