Sporting some new wheels!

Recommended Posts

I like the factory wheels that came with the TC but hate cleaning them and don’t want to put wear and tear on them. I previously had Neon Srt-4 wheels on the car but I didn’t like the look and I thought 17’s were a touch too big. I like factory wheels so I found these 16” Chrysler Sebring wheels and had them powder coated. I’m really pleased with the look and fit. Good opportunity to flush the brake fluid while swapping wheels. I also decided to apply window tint over the reverse lamps and I think it looks great! Only 39 degrees in WI today but happy spring everyone!872A6210-F707-4421-A095-B22C5E7AC159.thumb.jpeg.02b0655a68b0e19fa7035d6e58c9d608.jpeg26D0F674-6510-4F92-A42F-03BA0F1FA53B.thumb.jpeg.59c619af9d80a7a63a1c3a2025a9cbd7.jpeg

Wow, those Sebring wheels don't look bad! What are their specs? Obviously 16", but width and offset?

I liked how the RPF1's fit my TC (16x7 +35)...too bad I broke 2 when I wrecked my Daytona a while ago. :( Hitting a curb at 45+mph will kinda do that.

I saw 4 wheels stacked in a corner at the customer parts-counter of a Chrysler dealer, asked if they were for sale, and the rest is history.

Frankly, I never paid attention to the width, just had tires mounted and put them on the car.

Those are nice wheels too Nile, however I do not have those 16 Valve emblems on my front fenders, so my 'cruiser' will do fine with those I have on it.

I still have the original TC wheels, they are on my 85 Plymouth Voyager.2D54715F-B910-4656-A2D1-7800EF15E9FF_1_101_a.jpeg.2c9afd5255c765d77c63264da72e9357.jpeg

Awesome, I'm tempted, Got a local shop I took my TC to a week ago and who said he would resurface and make like new for $600 and keep original.

or go to 16" with easier to clean rims, I'm torn because my 15" tires are practically new. add new tires getting up to $1200

It can be difficult to reach the valve stems in the original wheels.  Any time you have a tire mounted make sure the valve stems are long enough so you can reach them with a normal air chuck, but not so long they stick so far they get damaged.
