neil morse
Fantastic video posted on The Old Motor today. Many wonderful cars, including some Buicks, of course. Edited March 22, 2021 by neil morse (see edit history) 1
Matt Harwood
Open Duesenberg pulling out from among a bunch of other high-end cars at 0:45! Anyone recognize the building (appears to be Central Park West, so a high-end neighborhood)?
neil morse
It's actually Fifth Avenue along the east side of Central Park. It starts at about 59th Street (you can see the Plaza Hotel on the right hand side as the camera moves north) and ends up maybe somewhere in the 80's. Very tony part of town, as reflected by the large number of limos and high end cars -- Lincolns, Packards, Cadillacs, several Rolls Royces, the Duesy you mention, etc. I find it fascinating to watch -- not just the cars but the people going about their daily routines.

jdome
Traffic running smooth with no traffic lights. I would like to see a more recent film of this same route.

Yes, but there are policemen at most (all?) intersections directing traffic. I suspect a traffic signal costs a lot less per year than full time police.
